Over the last century, the global economic and societal development approaches were dominated by the theories and approaches of the economists from post-war america.Technology platforms have now taken up this mantle, driving homogenization. The difference lies in the scope, scale and reach. Where past influences were often a step removed from individual lives and localized/sector specific, tech platforms through their economies of scale and monopolistic tendencies are homogenizing lives, behaviors, and systems on a truly global scale, and across sectors.But we also work with a scarcity mindset valuing what is rare and devaluing what is commoditized and visible/available everywhere.
